Beauty, Comfort and Sustainability. Doshi Levien and Arper created SHAAL, a sofa collection that combines Precision with Softness, Lightness with Comfort, Sustainability with Beauty. Launched at Salone Del Mobile 2022. Shaal is exquisitely detailed and crafted at the front and the back, making it suitable for different spatial layouts. The chamfer detail at the bottom makes it visually light.
Sustaining Skills, Communities and the Environment. Not only is Shaal designed to be completely separable for assembly, repair, replacement and end of use recycling, it is also made by master craftswomen and men in Arper’s manufactory near Treviso, sustaining industrial and craft skills in the local region.
