Table for Das Haus
Produced for Das Haus 2012, Doshi Levien created a dining table that supports the idea of parallel activities taking place. The hexagonal surface in Terrazzo meets a rectangle of marble in a single table. Placed in the central courtyard of Das Haus, the table is used simultaneously for different activities, encouraging the family to be together. For example children doing their homework while parents are preparing food together in the courtyard.
