Table for Das Haus

Produced for Das Haus 2012, Doshi Levien created a dining table that supports the idea of parallel activities taking place. The hexagonal surface in Terrazzo meets a rectangle of marble in a single table. Placed in the central courtyard of Das Haus, the table is used simultaneously for different activities, encouraging the family to be together. For example children doing their homework while parents are preparing food together in the courtyard.

Materials are Terrazzo Hexagonal table element with Metal fabricated polygonal stem and steel base. Carrara marble rectangular table element. Solid Utile under frame. Tubular steel legs. Dimension: Length 220cm X Width 130cm X Height 700mm
